Summer learning journey (Day 2 Activity 1 Similes)

So today we had Tayla come in to our class and explain about the summer learning journey and to start with some activity's. We started with Day 2 Activity 1 Faster than a speeding bullet). At first I found this activity quite hard than Mrs Cowles gave me a little help then I got the hang of it! Final free writing (Santa parade at Whangarei)

Kia ora so this is my FINAL free writing its about what I did on Saturday night hope you enjoy! Me and my friend Deeny were heading down to Whangarei with my two cousins and my Auntie and Uncle! It was a typical drive down to Whangarei and once we got there we went shopping. We shopped for Christmas present for awhile and once our legs started being sore we walked back to the car, From there on we went to the ASB rugby field. It was so hot we sat there for about 3 hours straight then we finally got a ice cream and it was slowly getting dark, We bought glow sticks and! And we also watch the cool fireworks they were so big and loud. After that we felt very tired we got dropped off at Deeny's nana's and just freaked it on fornite,Mincraft and youtube. Anyways enough of this Have a good Holidays be safe and get heaps of presents THANK YOU,NEXT!

Tuia Exhibition (British flag)

So last week we had been focusing on our Tuia 250 again, we had to pick out another object and last week I picked out the British flag once again. Our goal was to write a description about it then screencastify it and blog about it. I found it hard to try describe it and download PNG images, backgrounds. It was easy finding information because I already know a couple of facts about it, Maybe next time I will try and do a different object and screencastify and bit clearer. Byee x

Nature's donation

If you look closer,the tiny, focused little creature could have easily gone unnoticed. Balancing on the floating leaf, It looked vulnerable and lonely Where was it going? A drip of water was sitting among the leaf providing him with water source even though he was surrounding with a lake full of water was to life risking. He layed there silently waiting to arrive on a bank hoping to get so food and a mate.

Free writing

They had been in the barn for ages, Outfits ready, Equipment set, Plan made, They were almost ready to leave. What were they attempting had never been done before. They knew what they wanted and were determined to get it. They were starving, They haven't eaten for months all that was left of them was skin and bone. Drinking water from the old pipes and eating dead insects! They were ready, The delicious cheese use to sit up in the drying room for years and they never got any of it because of the big rat eating cat the guarded the cheese room. It was time the fat cat was asleep and they set at dawn trying to make no sound, They had made tunnels heading direct to the cheese room. They tip toe towards the cheese one by one taking big chunks of it and taking it home and back for more, All of a sudden the fat cat had woken chasing all the rats out of the room nearly killing one! But they got the feast and they at all day and all night.

So, To start this story off it was a normal casual weekend all of a sudden my mum had got a phone call It was my Opa - (This means papa in dutch) He called my mum asking if I wanted to come to the swimming pools with him! Me yeah sure why not. After getting ready he came to pick me up, It was a slow drive but we made it finally! I had got out of the truck and had seen my friend TUNISIA I was so happy she was here with me it would of been so boring! We swam for hours having a mean feast in between (Yummy chicken kebabs,cake and delicious brownie! it was to die for!) time went past so fast it was 4:00 The pool had closed and we drove up to my papas house. All of the adults were having drinks and chatting with each other downstairs, I asked if Tunisia could stay the night it took her mum a long time to deiced but she finally said yes! We went for showers and got nice and cosy! There was one girl there her name was Kiara, She was sitting there with the little kids on her phone looking super bored so me and Tunisia went to go ask her if she wanted to go in the room with us (Btw this isn't THE ROOM) She seemed pretty cool and was super funny after a while of us talking. We went downtown and bought us heaps of ice cream and yummy food! We did heaps of funny as stuff like (Whip cream challenge and eating heaps of junk food) we transferred rooms into the middle room where we laughed and had even more fun then a little girl named leilai She was sitting on the couch and Tunsia too while me and Kiara were standing it was so scary! leilai had all of a sudden did Pennywise eyes and me and Kiara run straight out turning off the ,light and shutting the door! All you could hear was a loud scream it was Tunisia! it was so funny After that we never went back inside that room. But we also heard that there is a ghost in the house! OMG...

Lego creation

Kia ora, Recently throughout the past 2 weeks we have been creating lego objects my group (Me,Tahlya,Kaia and Mia) Selected a house we could choose out of 3 houses to create and we picked this house. I found that finding and sorting out the lego pieces quite hard but I got through it and we finished our master piece I hope you enjoy it !

The switch

Hiya throughout this term we have been working on our movie it finally got published yesterday, We couldn't really do the main parts of our movie because we were to busy doing other work but we did get a movie finish! Its alright it is not our best acting and stuff but we enjoy the bloopers and stuff. I hope you enjoy it sorry if you can't see some parts but yah byee.

It started off with a cold breezy morning the fresh crisp air blowing besides me, It was a beautiful morning. The time flickered and we began eating our breakfast FRY BREAD! (It was so yum!)

Anyways enough about that lets get on to the good part...(Skip through the rest and to the burnouts)

You wouldn't really want to hear about the boring drive to Whangarei so I deiced to skip it.

Blue air smoked up the arena with big loud noises echoing throughout polluting the fresh crispy air, It was pretty cool ! Heaps of mean as cars sometimes all you could hear was POP, POP from the tires being worn out, Rubber flying up in the air luckily we were in a safe position it was a cool day I kind of enjoyed it but throughout the whole weekend it was really cool!

Statistics

Heyo this term we are a learning STATISTICS, I found this very easy and cool and understandable. Can't wait for it to get harder hopefully anyways enough about that hope you had a good holiday and first week back at school happy blogging :)

Tuia 250

Throughout the past weeks at school we have being working on a topic named the Tuia writing 250. Its established around what happened at mercury bay in New Zealand there is quite a lot of people in this story and there all based around what happened. Firstly our whole class had been handed each a card of a character in the story we studied about them and wrote what they knew when they were there and heard the cannon shot. After that went by we each got handed a object that each person had in the story, Well me I got handed a flag and you will know more information about down below!

Holidays

My holidays

- Firstly on the first week and second week me and my friends (Tunisia and Roxy) 

Had like a five day sleepover honestly we did nothing just lye in bed on our devices

but i think we did two days doing something (Walking downtown to get something to eat and swimming for four hours straight) It was a pretty interesting holiday but I wasn't really prepared for school and wanted a longer holiday. But then week 2 hit me...

- Week 2

Thursday was the last day I stayed at my papas and I had got dropped off in town where my parents were. There they were fixing up heaps of cars, After a long time we went to Kawakawa for a fed of mayflower // its a Chinese shop in Kawakawa. They gave me the big NEWS where going to Tauranga to go get a new car and see my friend. It was such a long drive but finally we had made it Auckland traffic is so busy and takes forever but enough about that lets get into the cool part. I got dropped off at my friends house Haelyn! I haven't sen here in ages, I was so excited to see her. I said goodbye to my parents and headed inside we did so much cool things (watched a movie Good boys, went to a circus and they took me to Mt Maunganui it was so beautiful up there and there is so much things to do there but sadly I had to go back HOME. 

Going back home

After that journey I really really wanted to stay there longer I loved it so much but sadly NO. My Parents cam to pick me up I said goodbye and thank yous to them it was very cool to hangout with each other once again I cant wit till we see each other next time. After all of that we left the city and headed back home.

SKI CAMP!!!

Kia ora last week we had our camp at Mt Ruapehu well skiing there we stayed at Ohakune (station lodge it was quite big. Anyways it honestly was so fun and cool, I had heaps of fall overs and heaps of laughs.The drive up there was quite long but we made it and I am pretty sure we all enjoyed it. I learned how to ski pretty quickly and was getting the hang of it ! I saw some of my family down there helping out some of my friends and honestly if you have never been down there go! go! go!. There are heaps of memories to remember. I love skiing don't be shy no matter how many falls you do just remember other people fall to and it pretty funny to watch them on the chair lifts.

Technology (Hikuranui Primary School)

Through out the weeks of term 3 we have started doing TECHNOLGY our base is at Hikuranui School, I enjoy doing Tech!! firstly me and my group were doing soft materials but now we have moved to cooking. I enjoyed doing soft materials and cooking as you can see we had to make a pewter necklace and mine is a HORSE SHOE. At cooking we made a Cesar salad and a yummy pizza I really enjoyed doing that and can't wait for next week. Anyways I hope you enjoy sorry this was such a random blog post but HAPPY BLOGGING :) ohh... by the way mind the ugly as photo!

The eye...

In the misty swamp it will be waiting for you! Its eye was as green as grass in the garden in summer but it was much more deadly! It had speckled gold parts that spread-ed around its grassy bright green eye. Its in a deep sleep on the scent of a human can awake this beast, And once the eye opens your in great danger. The black jaggeder strip along its eye, if you look inside it your soul will be trapped forever lost finding away to get out. Don't mess with this eye beware and stay far far away...

This street was very special and unique, Many bright colors shined through the city. Some call this art and some call this a mess it really depends on what your draw and where you draw it! Most people don't admire this (taging) But others do! It can be so unique and bright but others tag rude and not really eye catching things (Only the police rubbing it off). It was a cold and breezy morning, Cold crystal clear waters and snowflakes speckled through the air. Shaking the water off her feather the hungry heron hopped along the bank to a floating log, Any second now she would sink her shard beck down, Waiting silently for her next victim beneath the surface, Spearing a little fish that was her breakfast but she must not wait to soon she has her chicks she must get back to. Standing above the water standing one-footed she leaped in to action flapping her beautiful wings hopefully we will see her again coming back for food.

Weekly 3

Kia ora, This is my weekly 3 of week 3. Each week we have to do our weekly 3 and there are three activities (Prototec/ Its a maths site, Number of the day and e ako another math site). Assembly (Doctors office)

This week we had been preparing and getting ready for our ASSEMBLY, We learned a new dance ( GIT UP ), A doctor skit, our school songs and we are sharing some off our wonder project knowledge. I really enjoyed doing our assembly this term it even was the first assembly of term 3, I found it hard to do some of our songs because I forgot what I was doing and just keep laughing at myself. I love it when it is our assembly and can't wait for our next one. I hope you enjoy this skit and have a safe week have fun and comment x 

Ending life

She carried the weight of the earth on HER shoulders, Suddenly there wasn't much further to go. The path she had been walking collected plastic bottles,Plastic bags,Carcass's and much more rubbish. Each step she would take more and more rubbish will surround her killing the animals,Polluting the sea and air there wasn't much time left before all would disappear, She was tired running out of air breathing in smoke, Her lungs shook in fear. Day and day a new city would appear, Animals would die thanks to you they have no home, those beautiful animals you once knew exist from our world. What more can we give Rubbish,Polluted seas and air soon enough well shall all fear our world being a swamp will little fresh air. We need to RECYCLE respect those here those who run when need to face the fear.

This week we finally had to finish our student conference before Monday, I really enjoy doing conferences with my parents and showing them work I have been doing and what I have been learning. IN found it hard to find information in some of my texts boxes but luckily I had help from the teacher, Well hope you enjoy my front page x

Netball (free writing)

Sliver ferns - Australia

As we all know New Zealand and Australia have their ups and downs, Sadly it was not the best time for Australia to celebrate today it was NEW ZEALAND'S time to shine. Winning most of their netball games and making it to finals the ( Sliver ferns) had done quite well, Winning against England for the semi-finals also, Well having a brilliant game against Aussie they only one but 1 point ( 51-52 ).

It was such a cool game to watch New Zealand giving every game their all. New Zealand cam back up to sadly not placing in the Commonwealth games but making their way back up the score board. I wish I could have went to England to go and see the fantastic netball games especially the semi-finals and FINALS, I personally agree that every team played very outstanding games and should each get gifted a prize, Anyways congrats on all the mean as teams. I will sure be in touch with you next Monday for another mean free writing. 

Finally my last free writing of the TERM!!!

It was the day they’d all been waiting for, As the colours started to flow. The whole town started to celebrate. This was a tradition that had been followed, without fail for hundreds of years. The crowd began to swell even more, cooled by the jet streams of paint that filled the air, The festival of colours was truly underway…

Blue,Pink,Green and purple all these beautiful colours surrounding all of us the cold breeze swept across our sweaty faces leaving the powder dried on our bodies, I love this time of year with all of these bright colours sadly I can't come next year but I will enjoy this day in my own time with family and friends...

Maramaku (NETBALL)

Last Friday we had Maramaku, I think there was 80 of us altogether on 1 single bus and our school van so it was very packed inside after all of that driving we had finally made it technicality its only 15-20 minutes but once we had got off we left with my dad and headed towards the fence as you can see in the picture. Once we did that we headed on towards the netball court and started playing our first game sadly it was only five minutes caused from timing, Besides all of that we all enjoyed playing against friends thankfully we WON and sadly one of my friends Miria had rolled her same ankle but besides all of that it was a beautiful day I enjoyed it so much and can't wait to go again.

First encounters

Last week we had another writing task we had to finish (First encounters). This writing was hard but also very fun to writ about and explore different writing styles and personalizes Anyways I had so much fun writing about this I hope you enjoy and I would love to make another writing about this topic.

Tuna and takakau

Kia ora, Last week we had a whanau day/Tuna and takakau week here you can see all the information about each tuna. There was also some takakau bought in to taste test and there where some delicious takakau. Anyways that day was such a blast we had a yummy HANGI and I think all the parents and whanua love spending time with friends and family. Sadly I did not bring in a takakau or a tuna but it was cool to see some many people bring family and food.

Scratch project

Last week we had made a trip to the Waitangi Museum, I had a lot of fun exploring and using scratch it may seem boring but once you get in to it you will really enjoy it. Me and my partner ( Tunisia ) have the same background but different sounds and characters, It was hard editing it and having to change and just having to get the right orders and correct timing. Maybe next time we have the chance to go there again and maybe I can have a longer scratch but I agree that mine is perfectly fine. After all I really enjoy doing this again but I hope you enjoy my scratch.

Late night

This weekend I had a blast Me and 3 more of my others friends ( Tunisia,Payton and Tahlya) Stayed at Dakota's house for her birthday, Before all of that exiting stuff we did our casual netball and rugby games once rugby finished I went to Dakota's house. Once I got there the rest of my friends were waiting on the tramp we played heaps of different games before the sun went down ( Hide and seek kind of, Shoots and just played on he tramp we also went for a walk up this hill in the paddock besides Dakota's house. Well we were eggs and deiced to jump the fence and try get back to her house using the bush besides the paddock That did not go well so we jump  the fence once again. After all of that exciting stuff we headed inside watching television our just on our ( Ipads and phones ) We also had this tasty dinner ( Chicken nuggets and pizza ) OMG I loved the chicken nuggets they were sooo YUM and the pizza, We were all so thankful for what Lori had done by the way Dakota's MUM. She had even made us a little lollies,chocolate and popcorn plate thingy. Time past and we once played a prank on Tahlya but it didn't really go that well and we just filmed heaps of videos on the tramp ( Funny videos by the way HAHA ) We played more games ( Blinds men bluff ) That did not go well of course some of us got hurt by besides that we all had a fantastic night

First encounters

Kerikeri Netball Centre tournament...

Once again I have deiced to write about netball but this is much more interest you see in the title I have ( Tournament ) Firstly at the start it was a cold morning ( Sunday June 16th ) We had a quite early game 9:30am but we had to be there at 8:45am - 9:00am the latest.  Anyways we had a good game yesterday we WON but we didn't have our whole team and also only 1 sub, It was quite hard without most of our players but we played amazing. Today we had 5 games maybe 6 if we had made it to the finals sadly we did not getting smashed by Whangarei girls and boys but lets not end up on a sad note, Winning all of our games 1,2,3 The first 2 games we fun and quite easy but still played our best you know we lost to the Whangarei team soooo Its not to bad only losing one and winning the rest I think we all enjoyed playing the last team also we were so tired. I really loved that tournament and would love to do it again see you in the next blog post x

Te Reo

This week we have been learning Maori with Whaea Whetu we learned how to introduce our grandparents into our Pepeha , I really enjoy having Whaea Whetu in our class for one hour once a week we all a very grateful. Only thing I think is hard is that some words can be difficult to pronounce after all I hope you enjoy what Whaea Whetu have's been teaching our class also I hope you use this technique about you grandparents in your pepeha.

SLEEPOVER...

This Saturday night was not the casual Saturday night I (Me) was staying at my (opa's - Opa is papa in dutch) Although I have been there a thousand time this time felt special not only because I was going I had three more friends staying over ( Taylah,Aisha,Roxy and Me ) Sadly one of them had got sick and had to go back home but still came over for a little bit. While we were there we played a lot of games, Ate junk food and watch heaps of movies but we mainly played Grave yard and as you all know I play it quite a lot, We didn't stay up like I expected us to stay up we probably went to bed around 11-12 watching movies ( Haha ). Anyway's the night past quickly and rise in shine fun fact = we stayed in bed till 10 haha, Watching  more MOVIES in our warm blanket our stomachs growling for food and I think we were all hungry. Well it took us awhile to get up and get dressed out of our pajamas's  but while we were doing that Aisha was in the kitchen making us some yummy pancakes honestly the best pancakes in awhile, Our stomach were packed of food and guess what we watched another movie hahah...Anyways it shall be another blog post see you in 2 weeks time ready for another Sleepover blog post HAHAHA

Waitangi !!!

Kia ora last week we recently had the Waitangi crew to come and teach us how to use different apps and bring some of their cool technology. I really enjoyed doing this again and like using the same apps from last year but I learnt extra thing to do on some of those apps, I can't wait till we go to Waitangi later on this term and get to fidget with some of their other cool gadgets. I found it hard king of using scratch and doing a lot of new effects and trying to make a cool video but it went well in the ending haha:) But can't wait to go to Waitangi to learn more stuff on how to present but mainly to have FUN hopefully I can make a slide or new presentation on it afterwards HAPPY BLOGGING x

So this week was our final week to make our rocket, I personally agree that we did well and it go its best once it hits the moon :) Nah jokes but I really enjoyed this and would love to create another rocket another day and approve on it,The hardest thing would have to be when we were HOT gluing it. But that's all of it I hope you like it haha and can't wait till blast off!!!

This is our rocket side it's not all done but its still alright, Its been cool doing this topic with my group and can't wait to finish it hopefully our rocket fly's next Tuesday or hopefully gets built and ready to fly the next time.

Grave yard / Last card !!!

This weekend was a chill weekend just did our casual sports day and our lazy Sunday, That night we had a blast playing cards I know its sounds boring but I had fun with my family. The game's we were playing was Grave yard and last card we all had our ups and downs especially me winning than losing like just choose one but the most important thing was to have fun :( :)

Any ways carrying on with the game we all yelling our lungs off at each other (Ahhh ?, Cheater , loser)

But you may be thinking it sounds sad but it was funny. Suddenly we finally got serious in last playing only 2 cards than 1 scared of losing but did I...

Winning two rounds of last card and grave yard we were all coming a tie we all shamed each other a decided to head off for showers and get ready for bed well I was still waiting for other round WHAT A BUMMER!

Weekly 3 week 4

This week was my first week of doing weekly 3 Cause I was doing jobs for my teacher and I was in kapa haka but I decide to drop out. Anyways I wouldn't mind doing this again next week and get a standard amount of it correct, But Hope you enjoy :)

This Tuesday was a blast we all had fun and learned more games to play

There was eight other schools there including us, We played friends,family even met new students. Well I personally agree that we placed first or second but the main goal was that we have FUN! and technically we dd !!!

We also had our Favorite I think it was this new game sadly I don´t know what it is called but here is some we played (Ki-o Rahi, we did some fitness with the fire truck and the gym and we also played this water balancing game sadly we lost haha) but we all telling you we all enjoyed this day and we all would love to do it again losing or winning we would have fun with each other again.

Lights out !

Before the sun went down laughs began to shimmer but once it fell darkness boarded the ship leaving us only hot chips and popcorn chicken we feasted like hungry rats, Beginning to slowly shut our eyes Kenzie quickly goes out and sleeps on the couch but suddenly she wakes up and once she did lights out...The television is off and the kitchen light was it true is it a power cut ? Scaring ourselves because it was full moon (Werewolf bahahaha !!!)  T.k comes trudging towards us with a big bright light finally setting up the candles and fire Really way to make it scarier but I wasn't scared at all kinda (haha). Snacking on food we wait as the lights bloom Finally we all say (let there be light haha) we get to watch TV and finally fall asleep or did we...

! Lets go Magic ! Winner winner chicken dinner !!!

Netball

This week was so busy and I was involved in so much (Trips,teacher jobs and my casual sports day or was it ?). What a night I was so cosy and warm I loved my bed I didn't want to leave but I had to. Getting dressed doing my normal routine and walking out the door hitch hiking with Roxy, Laughing our lungs off we slowly come across (Road works) Damm! hopefully were not late. 2 hours later...Nah sike it was only 5 - 10 minutes of waiting in the long I am telling you long as line as if we were waiting for food. After all of that we finally arrived jumping our of the car and storming towards our team, We wait having fun with our team and then began running slowly as I ran my neck became sore and in pain I was so sore but what was it ???

We finished our run and headed towards the toilets doing our warm ups but my neck still had this werid pain I couldn't warm up I dashed to aunty Jamie she gave it a quick rub and told me to stretch it suddenly the alarm went off we needed to go to our court. Hi Arona Its a bit weird bit my neck isn't feeling that well and it is so soreeee! She too also gave it a rub and it felt better she also sent my on the court playing with the pain my neck felt fine we where winning by heaps of points but still played our hardest. Having a 7 minutes of resting I jump back on Feeling sore and worn out but still played mean as, Our points flying up its the last quarter and slowly the time finished finally we had finished I was so tired and couldn't wait to get off the court But once we did (Player of the day ) was announced and I jumped towards hearing polite things first thing I know Arona yells out ( OCEAN) yass I had got player of the day...

This Saturday was a blast for the whole week I have been waiting for this day and here it is,Getting up,having a shower,getting dressed and getting inside the car my morning had just began and was such rush but ready to play. My body was up but I was watching my eyelids that was how I was barely awake. Warming up the mini and chucking my flip flops in my shoes p.s I have big feet well my opinion lets keep reading...So once the car was all warmed up my body fainted as it seeped into the car seat but my back was still stiff and barely moved ashamed of going to Kerikeri in this car well one way or another I had to be there to play or to watch I will still support my team. Bumping into each gear after climbing this ginormous hill we roll down it speeding past the cows. Finally we arrived..Um so yea the other part was boring so we skipped it hehe lets go...I couldn't wait to storm up hopefully not getting embarrassed by other netball players, Even if I did my dad still had my back and would have wiped away by the day.Our coach Arona assembled our team we all rushed over happy to be together as one and couldn't wait to do our warm ups. But anyway 5 minutes left until the game had started Arona put the netball shooters on the court practicing our goals while the other netball players in our team went to go and have ball passes.Ding ding!!! there goes the bell cant wait finally Arona picks the 7 players that are going to be on the 1 quarter round maybe the next? Popping the goals in and the supporters supporting us with all their all, But I was still huffing and puffing I needed a rest hearing the siren go off I finally head off to go for a seat and slowly siped on my water yelling out to my team ¨GO¨There the game was finished and I was so hunger I could eat a goat but I healed my hunger and gobbed up my hot chips. But after all thank you very much for reading this long Saturday morning I will keep in touch and add more Information to my blog about my netball bye xxx

Values at Kawakawa primary school

This week was my first week back at school and finally term 2 I couldn't wait to see my friends and get on doing some work so here is something I enjoyed doing. So me and my buddy have been focusing on our 3 rs (respect,responsible and resilient). We finished our document on Monday but still added touch ups. I agree that My buddy and I have enough information for this subject on each sub title, I also wouldn't mind doing this again or doing something based around this.After all enjoy this blog post and use these luminous tips at school.

Reflection

This week is the last week of term 1 and I decided to make a blog post About this term and here are my goals...

Through out this term has been amazing,I have loved working in the workshops and enjoyed hanging out with my friends.I feel like I have complete most of my goals,I have been finishing my work at the set time,stranded Amount of work finished.I have competed in inter school swimming sports and placed in all races.I think next term I would need to get on Taumata more.But I cant wait for my journey next term I will focus on my work and try complete my goal and hopefully get some outstanding reports throughout this year.

Nukes

Today in the morning we had visitors the (Nukes)Who come and presented us with some of their cool songs.And some of the our school students participated in a workshop and had played a couple of songs to us,My favorite would have been either worms or carats and peas.I really like this workshop and hope that they would came back with maybe some new songs and more workshops.

Saturday Morning as I wake up to the strong windy rain,Turning on all the lights to bright up our house.I can slowly see the clouds form away or are they???Going out side checking if there is a speck of sun light slowly I look at my arms and legs as rushing goosebumps appear ¨Cold get inside I don´t want you getting sick ¨Says my mum.I reply with a shrug okay I mumble. Oozing up in some warm clothes,My mum asked me ¨You have to go and collect the money at the gate¨Okay I will just put some extra clothes on¨I said.Peeking through my window the clouds slowly start to stop their tears yasss!!! ¨Its not going to rain or is it¨I yelled.Driving to the gate we stand outside waiting for people to come in one by one the each come along and us on the side yelling out two dollars to enter.Gushing winds come sliding towards us and suddenly the thunderous rain come pouring down ¨Run get the umbrellas!¨Yelled my aunty. I ran as fast Putting them up put the wind and rain was so hard we ha to stand strong against it all having all our legs wet and most of our clothes damp¨WHAT A DAY¨I thought...

Poem

This week it was our assembly and we had to create a poem about what happened in Christchurch.I really enjoyed making this poem and those who are still hurting I would feel the same and hope you are okay but I really enjoyed it and would like to create another.

This week we have been working on our new poster, This would be a example for our new way to create posters or to present something to someone. Saturday morning waking up to a buzzing alarm still snoozing,Opening up my iPad its bright screen flashing into my peeking eyes as they open into big more pork eyes looking for something to eat.Checking my social media apps slowly everyone wakes up and puts the television,I was so cosy and warm in my blanket I barely wanted to move anyway,Checking the curtains the fog overs the trees like a blanket it look like a rainy day... NO! its not as the bight sun hovers over the fog as if it is telling the fog to make room for me.I Hoped in the warm shower it felt like sitting in a spa it was so nice i trudge out having a nice and yummy breakfast Mmm! I slither back on to the couch it was a really good morning I couldn´t wait till what of the rest of the day could hold!!!

The large beast

A large beast passing By, Packed her bags a left the circus leaving it all behind without a bye.She had been in the circus for more than 15 years and she still stands till this night.Being stolen from her mother in the dry lands in Africa transported around the world until she meet the circus clowns.Scars,tears and bruises she was sick of it standing on her 4 legs that would tremble each night,Sleeping in the cold carriage with a word above ¨DO NOT FEED¨staving each day until the sun slowly shines. Breaking the walls down she Zoomed past and had escape with a blink of an eye.Heading towards home she walks but she slowly cries as her beautiful home has nothing but dead trees.

Golden key

This week we have been doing poems these poems are being sent to other schools around the New Zealand.This was a very interesting project I kind of like it we finished it very quickly so we could send it to the school that have us and are going to be sending their poems.But I really like it and wold like to do it again.

Saturday night...

Just after the sun fell down we packed up and headed to my little cousins birthday.Quickly racing to the birthday we zoomed past other cars and had finally arrived,We were not late and were just in time.It was a night party/glow in the dark,There was a table packed with ice cream sundae items and plenty of others things to choose from it was so cool,I wanted to stay the night because it was so much fun and cool.Me and my Friends/Cousins were playing (spotlight,tag,hide and seek,Playing with the dog and hide and seek tag) it was so much fun hanging out with them we were laughing all the time with our little cousins not telling them to go away but telling they come come and play with us.I loved this night with my friends/family it was the best and I can wait to see they again.

Hitachi the air bender

Over the past two weeks we have been finishing up on our eyebombing poem.We had to blue tack googly eyes on the something without eyes or something that would look funny.This is a poem about Hitachi the air bender,This is very interesting and funny I really enjoyed doing this task and hope we get to do some more.I also hope that you enjoy my poem and comment happy blogging:)

Cat's Eyes

Cat eyes
In the dark shadow of the street,She blended in perfectly.With the street light flickering she pounces out of the shadows.Round eyes,Big pupils and smooth black fur,With white pointed whiskers.Her eyes and snow whiskers were the only thing you can see as she hide back in the darkness slowly walking towards me! She purred I guessed she liked me purring for food,I dashed back to the kitchen, Running back and giving her a piece of meat.She snatched it off me and creeping back into the darkest part of the street.She visited me every night to have a feed step by step she got to know me.Her name is shadow,She is now my kittie.

Sunday fun day.

On Monday mornings in our class we have 20 minutes of free writing about what we have done or a picture.Here is my free writing about what I did on Sunday.

SUNDAY...
On Sunday Me and my Mum and Dad went to Kerikeri,we look in shops(moderncollective and rebal sports) It was fun we bought some things,My Dad had suggested were should we go eat today"he said Mac Donalads"My Mum said nah"FISH BONE"she said.We slowly walked to the cafe ordered some food like(French toast,and a ugly bagel p.s that's what it is called)Their service was polite and always had a smile serving us"LIKE THEIR FOOD WAS THE BEST" We were half why through the dish than my Auntie came over with her boyfriend they too also ordered food so we were their for a long time waiting for them and having some conversations.Once they had finish we went walking back to our cars, Parked next to each other and then left to Waipapa were we went looking in other shops and got more clothes and other things we needed, It was time to leave finally we jumped in the car said bye and headed back to home and just relaxed and watched television.
